Volunteer Opportunities

INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES

Beginning in May, individuals and families wishing to help support the Joshua Farm through volunteering can join us at the following times:

Wednesdays 4 – 7pm

Second Saturday of each month 9 am – 2 pm

SATURDAY WORK DATES

-May 10                     -September 13

-June 14                    -October 11

-July 12                     -November 8

-August 9

SATURDAY WORK DAY SCHEDULE

9:00 am – Farm tour and orientation

9:15 am – Work begins

12:00 pm – Lunch break

12:30 pm – Work begins

2:00 – Clean up

NOTES ON VOLUNTEERING

• Please RSVP to thejoshuafarm@gmail.com if you are planning to volunteer. This helps us prepare to make the day as productive as possible
• Feel free to come for part or all of the day–come when you can, leave when you have to.  If you’ve never volunteered at Joshua Farm, an orientation tour is required before you can start working
• We generally work rain or shine, don’t let some morning sprinkles put you off

GROUPS

The Joshua Farm often hosts community groups for work days. Groups larger than 4 should arrange a date and time to volunteer ahead of schedule to allow us to prepare. Group inquiries can be sent to thejoshuafarm@gmail.com
